New Jersey is famous for the variety of UV reactive minerals that come out of the mines and quarries. This Pectolite from Paterson, New Jersey is no exception! As Seen in the pictures, under 365nm ultraviolet the Pectolite lights up. In my camera, it mostly shows orange, but in person I perceive it as mostly magenta with some orange highlights. What will you see under the black light?
Comes mounted in a 1.25" Perky Box Specimen Display with mineral species and locality label.
